Comparative study between political thought of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Baqir Sadr

Imam Khomeini views the divine legitimacy of the government and the role of the people in running the administration affairs and Ayatollah Sadr maintains that the legitimacy originates from the people of God. According to the principles of the Islamic system, the Islamic ruler has certain characteristics and powers, as well as mutual rights for the people and the government. Freedom is one of the essences of man and his companion, and he believes in individual and social freedom.
