It has been narrated that one day in Najaf, one of the elders had passed away.
The Imam wanted to attend his funeral. I have to rent a car because I didn't want the Imam to be shielded in the heat.
We had the car for about an hour, and I finally paid a dinar. One dinar at that time was equivalent to twenty Iranian tomans now. Two or three days later, I took the bill to the Imam.
He told me, "Why aren't you careful?" You paid a dinar for a car! I said that I thought you were late. The Imam said, "No, I am like the other ordinary people!"
