Imam Khomeini had predicted that Hezbollah’s former secretary general and one of the founders of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon Sayyid Abbas al-Mousawi will lead the Lebanese nation to the victory against aggressions of Israel.
Imam made remarks during a meeting with al-Mousawi and other Lebanese scholars in 1982 in Iran.
“I see victory written on your forehead,” the great Imam said to al-Mousawi during the meeting.
The Imam made comments due to al-Mousawi’s extraordinary capabilities and his commitment towards Lebanese people and the entire Muslim World.
Imam also issued guidelines and special advises for al-Mousawi how to set framework for wellbeing of people and to relieve Lebanese from clutches of the Israeli occupation.
Later years proved that Imam’s predictions became true and al-Mousawi played a crucial role in cementing the foundations of the Islamic resistance in Middle East.
Al Mousawi was martyred during a terror attack by Israeli forces in 1992.
Hezbollah became a very strong organization and rose to a regional and international stage during his strong leadership.
The Islamic resistance movement also pushed Israeli occupiers out of South Lebanon in 2001 and defeated Tel Aviv during the 33-day war in 2006. Hezbollah continues to play a crucial role in regional and international complex circumstances.
